I am a master's student in cultural studies and critical theory. Yes, that is as all-encompassing as it sounds. (I prefer the phrase "all-encompassing" to "vague," thank you very much.) So in theory, in August 2012 I will graduate from said master's program and become a master. And you shall all bow down to me and call me Master Jocelyn. (My friend suggested this and I am totally going to make this a thing. Everyone with a master's degree should immediately start demanding that people refer to them as Master. It will be awesome, I promise.) Currently I am in the process of applying for PhD programs, so no worries, this blog isn't going to end when I become an official master. I have about nine thousand years of grad school ahead of me.
